Joe Neurauter is an award-winning film and Emmy-nominated television producer. He is the co-founder and principal of Los Angeles-based production and financing company Occupant Entertainment Group with subsidiaries in London, UK and Munich, Germany. Amongst his work are the Sundance-winning film "The Wackness", starring Academy-Award Winner Sir Ben Kingsley, and the Emmy-nominated television series "Behind The Mask". Most recently, he produced the literary adaption of "Madame Bovary", starring Mia Wasikowska and Paul Giamatti, and the Sundance-premiering "The Hallow", directed by Corin Hardy ("The Crow"). ==Career== Joe is an expert in independent film financing and international co-productions, having raised and structured financing in excess of $45 million through a combination of senior debt, equity, government subsidies and tax-based incentives. His films have frequently been acquired and distributed by major studios and distribution companies including Sony, Universal, Warner Brothers, The Weinstein Company, Eone, Samuel Goldwyn Films and IFC. He has in-depth experience with global production, having overseen productions all over the US and the rest of the world, including Los Angeles, New York City, Texas, North Carolina, Maryland/ Washington D.C. as well as the UK, Germany, France, Belgium, and Ireland. His films have regularly been selected to premiere and have won major awards at the top tier North American film festivals including Toronto, Sundance, Telluride, Tribeca and SWSX. Joe has been a guest speaker and panelist at film festivals and industry conferences.
